Roosevelt Summary
Teddy Roosevelt was once a proud winning president. The results of the election of 1913 came and Roosevelt lost. He moved to South America to avoid humiliation of the election with his son. The trip turned into an expedition when Brazil’s minister told them of an unknown river. The expedition was a disaster while searching for the river that they were told about. The result of exploring the river led to trial for possession of the river. This happened after an important expedition. Roosevelt dealt with infections in his leg wound he encountered along with a fever at 105 degrees.
